What is Zoopseal?
Zoopseal is a hybrid ceramic sealer, it is not a polish or wax. It is a protectorate.

What does a ceramic base sealer do?
It will impregnate into the pores of the product being treated, which will stop the process of oxidation immediately. A crisp, and clean appearance is the end result. Your product will continue to look like new without repolishing.

What can I use Zoopseal on?
Aluminum, Raw Aluminum, Brass, Chromed Plating, Stainless Steel, Anodized Aluminum Parts, Stainless Steel in Restaurant Kitchens as long as the area is not in direct contact with food we are not FDA approved, Outside Furniture, Awnings, and Paint.

Zoopseal can be used on the following types of metals, but the end results will vary. Most of the results have been good but not as consistent as aluminum.

  • Magnesium- 1970 and below/ ZoopSeal last about 6 months.
  • Magnesium- 1970 and above/ Up to 1 year.
  • Copper- Since Copper is not considered to be very porous, ZoopSeal may work, the trick with Copper is very little is needed to seal off the breathing process. We have not determined how many months ZoopSeal will protect Copper products.

How long does Zoopseal last on my product?
2 to 3 years, with proper care and maintenance, depending upon the environment.

When do I know when to re-apply? What are the steps?
After 2 years you may notice dulling and oxidation. You will need to re-condition your product and re-apply (you’ll need to re-order a Zoopseal Kit) using the same method as before. Just follow the Kit instructions and your product will continue to look like new.

Will Zoopseal rejuvenate or refurbish my product?
No, it will not. It will only stop the oxidation. You need to start with an already refurbished product. We recommend using our Like NU Cleaner Wax or our Zoop Shine Metal Polish.

Will it harm painted finishes on my car?
No it will not. Simply wipe off the excess ZoopSeal that has gotten on the painted surface with a clean dry lent free towel.

Will Zoopseal provide protection against fresh water?
Yes, but not against underwater abrasions.

What will salt water do to Zoopseal?
We recommend that you do not have your product immerged into salt water for a length of time (over 2 hours). If exposed to salt water use soapy water and wash off the salt within 2
hours. The Salt could cause the metal to discolor.

I live in an area that snows, will ZoopSeal hold up to the chemicals used to dissolve snow?
ZoopSeal ONLY stops oxidation. It will provide some protection due to a hardening agent placed in the formula, however, remember that ZoopSeal was developed to stop OXIDATION only, NOT hold up to various types of chemicals.

How can I get Zoopseal off my product once it is applied?
By repolishing the product using our Zoop Shine Metal Polish or another type of an aggressive polish.

What type of cleaners can be used on Zoopseal?
NO CAUSTIC OR ALKALINE CLEANERS. Only Zoops Cleaner or our Sheer Brilliance Car Wash can be used on the product.

How much Zoopseal do I need on the lint free towel during the application process?
Very little!!! The towel should be barely damp, NOT WET! (see question below for details).

Is ZoopSeal heat safe?
Yes, it is heat safe up to 400 degrees.

My wheels/rims are on the tires, can I apply ZoopSeal to them or do I need to remove them before I apply ZoopSeal?
No you do not need to remove them, although removal of wheels/rims would cut back on application time, you still can apply ZoopSeal on without harming the tires.

Can I use ZoopSeal on an Aircraft?
Yes, this product is ideal for aircrafts.

When applying ZoopSeal why is it important to use a small amount on the towel?
We use a flowing agent to help with the ease of application, because of this very little is needed. This also assures us that you will not rub hard while applying ZoopSeal to the part.
